Fudgey Brownies

And I’m back! After a long hiatus, I have finally come back and with my return I bring fudgey brownies. With those brownies have come the “What? Are you trying to fatten us up?” from my coworkers. They like my baking, is how I’m taking this.

I fore see more baked goodies to come with the new addition of an oven that actually works in my life. This one also does not frighten me when it actually ignites. Could be because it’s an electric oven, which is something I’m just going to have to get used to again. P.S. nothing against my friends oven that I had been using, and am forever grateful, but really should get that thing looked at.

None the less, BROWNIES! Got my recipe from Inspiredtaste.net and they are everything I could possibly as for. Easy and good.

– 10 tbs unsalted butter
– 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
– 3/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 large eggs
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Heat oven to to 325 degrees F. 8in x 8in square baking pan would be preferrable, but a 9in x 9in baking pan also works if you would like them slightly thinner.

Mix together the butter (room temperature) and the sugar. Add the cocoa powder and mix well. Add the vanilla extract and eggs. Mix well and then add the flour. Once completely mixed disperse evenly in the baking pan.

Let bake for 25 – 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting and enjoying.
